Jeffrey Marvin Wall was born February 21, 1954 in Comfrey, MN, the son of Marvin and Lucille (Windschittle) Wall. Jeffrey grew up in the Elbow Lake and Miltona, MN areas. He attended Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Following his schooling Jeffrey joined the Unites States Navy. After his discharge he returned to the Alexandria area. On September 27, 1975 Jeffrey was united in marriage to Sheri Larson. The couple was blessed with two children, Jennifer and Jaimie. Jeffrey worked in the oil fields in Wyoming and later worked as a carpenter in the Alexandria area. He became a self-employed flooring installer, which he continued at until becoming disabled in 2007. On November 22, 2001 Jeffrey was united in marriage to Beverly Brelje in Alexandria. The couple made their home in Alexandria. Jeffrey enjoyed spending time doing woodworking projects. He enjoyed hunting deer and liked to fish in the summer and winter. Jeffrey also enjoyed gardening; he raised fruits and vegetables and tended his trees. Jeffrey was a man of faith. He was a member of Grace Church in Alexandria and he spent a lot of time reading and studying the Bible. Jeffrey was also a member of Promise Keepers. On Friday, September 23, 2011 Jeffrey died at the age of fifty-seven years. His parents preceded him in death. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Beverly Wall of Alexandria; four daughters, Jennifer Hunter and husband, Chris, of Waconia, MN, Jaimie Jarnot of St. Cloud, MN, Jenny Burns and husband, Travis, of Mounds View, MN and Jean Jasmann of Jamestown, ND; eight grandchildren, Selah Jasmann, Arianna Jasmann, Kira Jasmann, Macie Hunter, Hallie Hunter, Preslie Hunter, Damien Burns and Nathan Burns; two brothers, Steve Wall and wife, Margaret, of Alexandria; David Wall and wife, Trish, of Cincinnati, OH; six sisters, Marlene Anderson and husband, Theodore, of Herman, MN, Paula Kristian of Monticello, MN, Carolyn Hammer and husband, Gerald, of Miltona, Susan Mrnak and husband, Wayne, of Albany, MN, Jeannie McClelland and husband, Mike, of Crystal Bay, MN; and Sharon Hanson and husband, Richard of Maple Grove. A funeral service was held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Grace Church in Alexandria. Reverend Allen Travaille officiated. Ruth Peterson provided music. Honorary pallbearers included all of Jeffrey?s grandchildren. American Legion Post 87, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 936 and the Minnesota National Guard accorded military honors. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
