As a little girl Jennalee was energetic and determined! When she made up her mind to do something she did it wholeheartedly. Jennalee adored her big brother—if he was doing it so was she! From the beginning Jennalee was fast and furious! When she rode bike, she raced! She learned to build ramps and jumps with her forever friends, Dalton and Shelton, and her big brother by her side. Her love for pushing the limits led her from jumping ramps on her bicycle to jumping over hills on her dirtbike. Jennalee and her Dad spent hours building her track. She spent hours and hours riding around the track with her friend, Carter. Jennalee’s love for being fast didn’t end there. She loved to drive—and yes, we know she started driving way too young. Jennalee’s love for music had her taking piano and drum lessons, but her favorite was the guitar. Her uncle Mike spent hours and hours teaching her all he knew about the guitar. Whenever her life got hard she turned to her music. Jennalee touched hearts. Her energy, silly antics, and compassion for people was her strength. “General Lee,” as Megan’s family referred to her, brought joy and comic relief to all of us. Her quick wit, bear hugs, and funny faces will be missed. We were robbed of these things for a while, but she had started her journey home. Our little Jennalee’s journey home to us ended way too soon. God called her home to her final destination. We love you Jennalee—Mom & Dad.
