Jennifer Marie Hedstrom died on April 2, 2011. She was born on March 16th, 1974 at Douglas County Hospital to Rocky O. & Paulette (Schultz) Hedstrom. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She grew up in Alexandria, attending parochial and public schools, graduating with a two year degree in Graphic Arts from South Central Technical College, Mankato, Mn in 1994. Jennifer married Jeffrey Schnobrich beside Minneopa Falls in July of 1994 and shortly thereafter, moved to the Rocky Mountains, eventually settling in Leadville, Colorado. Jennifer gained experience at various jobs and found her most satisfying work as a screenprinting designer, with attention to details, at High Country Shirtworks in the Vail area. Jen moved back to Alexandria in 2005. Jennifer expressed her creative talents in the way she decorated her home, through the styles she wore and the foods she prepared with care. People were drawn to Jen's energy at social gatherings. She encouraged many friends by seeing their good potentials and with forgiving acceptance. She gave a wide spectrum of pets a kind home environment, appreciating their unique characteristics. She hoped to do more for abandoned animals. Jennifer lived life on her own terms and was an example of disciplined exercise to stay strong. She enjoyed writing, reading, riding motorcycles, cooking and crafting. Her favorite vacations were warm sunny beaches. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Rocky & Paulette Hedstrom, three brothers, Rocky G (wife, Krissy & their daughters, Cecilia & Ginger) of Crestone, CO, Jonathan of Arlington, MA, Daniel of Mpls, MN, her paternal grandmother, Lorna Hedstrom, Windmill Ponds, Alexandria, MN and a loyal pet chihuahua, Quito. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Quinton Hedstrom, and Carl & Paula Schultz. If desired, gifts in memory of Jennifer would be meaningful to the Humane Society or Hospice. (E.E.
