John Martin Page John Martin Page was born on September 14, 1950 in Petaluma, CA to Mary Jane and Charles Wayne Page. John grew up in Northern California and was a member of the Cub and Boy Scouts. He spent his formative years in Sacramento and Concord, CA before moving to Tacoma, WA in 1967. He played High School football and graduated from Curtis High School in Tacoma, WA. During his college years, he was a member of the Washington State National Guard. John attended Washington State University and the University of Puget Sound, where he earned a Bachelor?s degree, and later a Master?s degree in Business from St. Thomas University in Minneapolis. John loved the outdoors throughout the year, fishing walleyes in the summer at the Cabin on Miltona, duck and pheasant hunting all over the Midwest, and snowmobiling and ice fishing during the winter. He played fast-pitch softball and was an avid golfer, earning a hole-in-one in the summer of 2008. He lived life with passion and a competitive spirit, giving 100 percent to everything he did. He was the owner of Insulation Supplies in Hopkins, MN since 1986. He loved his family, his co-workers, and his dog, Charlie, nicknamed after his father. He was preceded in death by his father earlier this year. John Page, age 59, of Mound/Alexandria, MN, died in his sleep while on a hunting trip in South Dakota on Saturday, October 17, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Janet; two daughters, Megan (Doug) and Jennifer; and three grandchildren, Eli, Zachary, and Anna. John is also survived by his mother and his brother Steve. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, MN.
