Joseph Scattarelli

Joseph Charles Scattarelli, the son of Robert and Virginia (Forcier) Scattarelli, was born on May 7, 1962 in Edina, MN. He grew up in Bloomington and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1980. Joe started working for Delegard Tool Repair in Bloomington, MN in 1979. He began his career by repairing tools before working his way up to Service Manager for the past 37 years.

Joe married Jane Koza, and together they raised three children: Luke, Benjamin, and Alissa in their home in Apple Valley, MN. Being a proud Italian; family was always first in Joe's life. He made sure he raised his children to work hard, show initiative, be respectful, and to love and respect family.

Joe age 54, died on December 31, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side at his home. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Scattarelli of Osakis; sons, Luke Scattarelli and Benjamin Scattarelli; daughter, Alissa Scattarelli; sisters Sue (Chuck) Forniea, Mary Scattarelli (Fiancé Kristi Smith), Janet Scattarelli, Deborah Scattarelli (Jimmie Browning), and Robert Scattarelli Jr,; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11AM at Atonement Lutheran Church, 601 East 98th Street, Bloomington, MN 55420, with the Reverend Siri Strommen and Chaplin Samuel McClellan officiating. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. A private interment will be at the Apple Valley Cemetery.
