Judith Mary Hens was born August 25, 1942 in Mankato, MN, the daughter of Henry and Evangeline (Shouts) Hens. She was raised in Mankato where she attended school.

Following her graduation from high school Judith was united in marriage to Harlan Harris. They were blessed with two children, Vicki and Kevin. Harlan was stationed at several locations while serving in the Navy and Judith moved along with him. They spent a number of years in Coronado, CA.

Judith eventually moved back to Mankato with her children. She met Don Tischer and the two were married June 12, 1965. They moved to Carlos, MN and spent a year helping Don’s father run the Woodland Resort on Lake Miltona. Judith expanded her family caring for Don’s three children and the two were blessed with another child, Jim.

Judith moved to Vining, MN and began working at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie. She worked at the nursing home for over twenty years.

On July 29, 2000 Judith was joined in marriage to Marvin Hollatz. The couple made their home in Vining.
