Judith Nohre

Judith Carol Hareid was born December 2, 1940 in Alexandria, MN, the daughter of Roger and Gladys (Marquette) Hareid. She grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Jefferson High School. On June 30, 1958 Judith was united in marriage to James Nohre. The couple made there home on the Nohre home farm at Evansville, MN. They were blessed with three children, Mark, Timothy and Kristi. The family moved to McKay Avenue in Alexandria in 1965 and later moved to North Nokomis Street in Alexandria. In 1977 Judith began working for Alexandria Extrusion Co. She retired in 1992 and worked for a short time for District 206. Judith loved her home. She enjoyed spending time watching the wildlife in her backyard. Judith liked to go to flea markets, knitting and. doing needlepoint. She spent time camping with friends and family. After James? death in 1998 Judith spent several winters in Donna, TX. On Tuesday, December 16, 2008 Judith died at the age of sixty-eight years. Her husband, James Nohre and her parents preceded her in death. Judith is survived by her sons, Timothy Nohre and wife, Julie, of Evansville and Mark Nohre and wife, Becky, of Alexandria; her daughter, Kristi Flynn and husband, Rod, of Osakis, MN; five grandchildren, David Nohre and wife, Julie, Scott Nohre and friend, Christie Primus, Kayla Nohre, Jacob Nohre and Jordan Nohre; three great-grandchildren, Brock Zastrow, Blake Nohre and Reed Nohre; one brother, John Hareid and wife, Sharon, of Buffalo, MN,; one sister, Pat Ripley and husband, Darwin, of Alexandria; and one sister-in-law, Ardelle Nelson of Alexandria; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Monday, December 22, 2008 at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Rev. John Peshek was the officiant. Randy Morken provided music. Interment will be at a later date in Mound Grove Cemetery in Evansville. Pallbearers were all of Judith?s grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers were all members of Eagles Aerie 3063 & Auxiliary. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
