Kathleen Christianson

Kathleen Mayme Christianson was born April 6, 1944 in Melrose, MN, the daughter of Raymond and Agnes (Otte) Schwieters. She grew up and was schooled at Glenwood, MN. Kathleen was blessed with two children, Jeff and Connie. Kathleen and her family lived in many different cities in Minnesota and Montana including Pine City, MN, Hardin, MT, Bozeman, MT, and Osakis, MN. For many years she worked at the Community Memorial Nursing Home in Osakis. Kathleen was a longtime Minnesota Vikings fan. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint work. On Wednesday, January 15, 2014 Kathleen died at the age of sixty-nine years. She is survived by her mother, Agnes Schwieters of Glenwood; son, Jeff Wengler and wife, Sue, of Gering, NE; daughter, Connie Wengler of Haverford, PA; three grandchildren, Meisha Wengler, Kylie Wengler and Tanner Wengler; three great grandchildren, Zaela, Barrett and Zaevrie; brother, Kenneth Schwieters of Alexandria, MN and sister, Eulalia Greff and husband, Al, of Bismarck, ND. A funeral service was held Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Reverend Wayne Erickson officiated. Interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
