Kortni Botzet

October 9, 2003 — May 2, 2010

Kortni Anne was born on October 9, 2003, in Alexandria, the daughter of James and Nicole (Ness) Botzet. She was in kindergarten at Carlos school. Even though Kortni?s life was short there are many memories that her family will cherish. Her love of dancing and singing stand out most in her parents minds ? they remember this Christmas giving the kids a Mini Z and Kortni was outside riding on it singing her little heart out. She would also tell people that she was not a colorer ? ?I?m an artist?. She enjoyed singing and playing the bells at Sunday School. Kortni also loved to help her parents take care of her younger brothers ? like many older siblings she was good at being the boss. She looked forward to her monthly ?girls day out? where her and mom would go and do something special. Kortni also enjoyed the time that her and dad would take together ? whether it would be driving the tractor or skid loader at the farm, feeding the cows, or when he took her to buy her princess boots. Kortni died on Sunday, May 2, 2010. She is survived by her parents: James & Nicole of Carlos; two brothers: Daryn and Evyn; grandparents: Gary & Diane Botzet of Carlos, Bill & Terry Ness of Brandon; great grandparents: Norma & Corky Scherrer of Brandon, Joan Ness of Elbow Lake, Shirley Botzet of Carlos, Ray & Loyola Frie of Osakis; aunts & uncles: Michelle & Nate Irmen of Minot, ND, Kayla Ness & fiance?
