Larry Jerome Feeken was born on January 6, 1958, in Blaine, Minnesota to John “Jack” and Jeanette (Baker) Feeken. He graduated in 1976 from Jefferson High School in Alexandria.
Larry married Lauren Swenson in 1976 and the couple was blessed with two boys, Jason and Lance. He worked a variety of jobs, working as a route driver for Coca-Cola, Continental Bridge, Rollies Sales and Service, Anderson Auto Body and Walt Johnson Construction. Mostly working as a welder.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, winter dark house spearing, trap shooting, bowling, darts, playing softball, and watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. He also enjoyed his trips to Montana to see his family.
Larry died on Friday, September 11, 2020, at his home in Alexandria at the age of 62. He is survived by his sons, Jason, (Nicole) Feeken of Garfield, Lance (Amy) Feeken of Glenwood; six grandchildren, Haley, Shelby, Gage, Dalton, Denver, and Michaela; two great-grandchildren, Rowan, and Braelynn; father, Jack Feeken of Whitefish, MT; sister, Lori Meyer of Carlos; brother, Ken (Lori) Feeken of Dunedin, FL; and nieces and nephews, Kellie, Kory, Kayla, Alex, and Rachel. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette; sister, Connie “Buffy” Feeken; and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Lance’s home; 840 14th Ave NE in Glenwood.
