Lawrence Carroll

October 18, 1917 — March 8, 2008

Lawrence Leslie Carroll was born in Mohall, North Dakota, the son of James and Frances (Bartholomew) Carroll on October 18, 1917. He graduated from Mohall High School in 1935. In 1941, the family moved to Minnesota. Les farmed all his life. He was also very mechanical and enjoyed working in his shop. On June 14, 1983, Leslie was united in marriage to Patricia Peterson. He was an active member of West Moe Lutheran Church where he served on various boards throughout his life. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving man and will be dearly missed. Leslie died on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the Crestview Manor in Evansville. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; step-children: Therese Peterson of Brandon, Paula Peterson of Brandon, Michael (Cathy) Peterson of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren: Jackie Elizabeth and Adam Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Lee. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at West Moe Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Clifford officiating. Pallbearers were John Boeddeker, Dan Botner, Howard Hanson, Larry Lund, Brad Olson, Jim Martin. Burial was at West Moe Cemetery in Moe Township. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home
