Lynnelle “Lee” G. LeMontagne, the daughter of Ronald and Harriet (Miller) Swedlund, was born on October 3, 1965 in Minneapolis, MN. She was raised in Annandale, MN and spent time in Alexandria while growing up. Lee married Charles LeMontagne II and three children were born to this marriage, Jenifer, Karen, and Charles III. Lee raised her family in Blomkest, MN and then moved to Alexandria in 2002. While living in Alexandria, Lee met her fiancé James Linder.
Lee was an animal lover and cared for many dogs and cats throughout the years. She crocheted and made candles as a hobby. She also wrote letters, poems, and loved reading. The most important part of Lee’s life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lee was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She treated everyone she met with respect and kindness. Lee will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Lee LeMontagne died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the of 52 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Jen LeMontagne (Jon LaBeau) of Cyrus; son, Charles LeMontagne III (Adele Ninow) of Sauk Centre; father, Ronald Swedlund; 14 grandchildren, brothers, Scott, Tracy, and Ronald Jr; sisters, Val, ReNae, Michelle, and Pam. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Angela LeMontagne and her mother Harriet.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 10-11 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria and conclude with a graveside service at the Corinna Cemetery near Annandale, MN at 12:30 PM.
