Lenore Anna was born on June 20, 1924, the daughter of John & Celia Grossman in Graceville, MN. She attended school in Chokio and graduated in 1942.
Lenore was united in marriage to Lester Willert on September 10, 1942. To this union ten children were born. Spending time with her family was a highlight in her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed her life at Grand Arbor where she made many special friends.
Lenore died on Monday, October 12, 2015. She is survived by nine children: Jerry (Mary) Willert Inverness FL, Dianne (Robert) Elmer Lake City, MN, Ronnie Willert Lisbon, Ct, Connie Kolden Osseo, MN, Pat (Pete) Prasky Champlin, MN, Jim (Lois) Willert Alexandria MN, Bob (Kris) Willert Alexandria MN, Larry Willert Palm Springs, CA, Kris Willert Denver, CO 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester of 67 years, daughter Cathy Joos, one grandchild Derek Elmer, one great grandchild, Emily Prasky, son-in-law, Russ Kolden, her parents and four sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chokio, Minnesota.
