Lori Callaway

Lori Peterson was born April 15, 1966 in Savanna. IL, the daughter of Janis Peterson and William Whalen. Lori was united in marriage to James Shore in 1988. The couple was blessed with one child, Vanessa. Lori later married Scott Callaway in 2002. They were blessed with two children, Bridgit and Sean. On Sunday, July 13, 2014 Lori passed away after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Scott Callaway of Alexandria, children Vanessa Shore of Vancouver, WA, Bridgit Callaway and Sean Callaway of Alexandria; mother, Janis Martin of Savanna, IL; aunts; Joan Cinnamon and husband, Oliver, Delores Peterson, and Carolsue Bielma; mother and father-in-law, Jane and Alan Callaway; sisters-in-law, Dawn Goodnough and husband, Lance, and Leslie Nicholson; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Callaway (Sean?s twin); grandparents, James and Mildred Peterson; father, William Whalen; step father, Arthur Martin; and many other family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Church of St. Mary in Alexandria. Reverend Father Steve Binsfeld will be the celebrant. Casket bearers included Lance Goodnough, Alexander Goodnough, Alan Callaway, Bob Ollinger, Tye Perkins and Levi Callaway. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home
