Lorna Fiebranz

Lorna Esther (Zarbok) Fiebranz, age 91, of Alexandria, MN joined God's heavenly kingdom on July 1, 2016. Lorna was born on June 4, 1925, in Parkers Prairie, MN to Emil and Esther (Ziesemer) Zarbok, Jr. She was baptized and confirmed on June 4, 1939 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of West Miltona by Rev. E.J. Dreyer. Lorna grew up on a farm near Lake Miltona and was united in marriage to Arthur Fiebranz on December 25, 1956. During her life she worked on the farm with her husband, was a bookkeeper, telephone operator and sold Amway for many years.
Lorna was active in her church and enjoyed the Evening Guild. She also enjoyed baking, socializing with friends, and Homemaker's Group.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Kathern (Greg) Niblett of Alexandria, Linda Fiebranz of Idaho, Robert (April) Fiebranz of Oak Grove; great grandchildren: Steven (Michaela) Niblett of Alexandria, Lauren Kujawa of Elbow Lake and Madilyn, Isabella & Sofia Fiebranz of Oak Grove; six great great grandchildren; sisters: Darlene (Kenneth) Rafteseth of Sauk Centre, Myrdene (Don) Meyer of Owatonna; sisters-in-laws: Laura Wagner, Genevieve Zarbok of Alexandria, nieces & nephews: Melanie Tukua, Jeff Ost, Dale Rafteseth, Donna Rafteseth, Judy Anderson, Michael Zarbok.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; step-son: Raymond Fiebranz, infant granddaughter, Karen Fiebranz, grandson, William Fiebranz, parents: Emil and Esther Zarbok Jr., brother, Norbert Zarbok; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Alice Meyer, Harold Fiebranz, Edna Craig, Marion Paulzine.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 2:30 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Burial will be at Kinkead Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
