Lowell Dean Ziesemer Sr. was born at home in Miltona to his parents Ervin and Ellen (Blake) on June 23rd, 1945. Lowell went to school in Miltona through first grade, then his family moved to South St. Paul in 1952. He then attended South St. Paul Elementary, Junior High, and High School. He graduated in 1964.
He was drafted in November 1965 and honorably discharged in 1967 from the US Army. Upon returning home to South St. Paul, he met his wife, Georgia, in November of 1967, and they were united in marriage on October 19th, 1968. They were blessed with two beautiful children, a son Lowell Jr., and a daughter Lisa.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He stayed active in attending all of their school activities. He taught them how to hunt and fish, and coached ball, but most of all he loved them very much. He was blessed with three grandsons and finally a granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife Georgia, daughter Lisa (Mark), mother-in-law Vicky Thomas, his grandsons Dustin (Kari), Austin Stafne, Hunter (Kristi), granddaughter Ashlei Tews, step-grandson Josh Moore, sister-in-law Ans Ziesemer, nephews Evert (Nicole), and Rick Hanson, nieces Saskia Ziesemer, and Tammy (Mike) Reis, and of course, his fur-baby Copper. Seven very special friends David Benson, Sue Nolan, Chris Hintz, Dawn Gralish, Larry Schindeldecker, Vickie McGill, and Ronald Amhrein.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Bonnie, brother Wallace, and son, Lowell Jr.
