Margaret Ellen Nali was born on May 12, 1936 to Ernest and Inez (Sylvester) Nali in Starbuck, MN. She attended school through the 11th grade before being united in marriage to Earle Grenson on March 12, 1955 in Starbuck. The couple then made their home in the Twin Cities area, where Margaret worked as a playground supervisor for Robbinsdale Schools and at Lindstrom Fire Restoration until retirement on May 1, 2000. Following retirement, the couple moved to a home on Lake Ida, where they have lived since. In her free time, Margaret enjoyed needle point, fishing, bird watching, and loved traveling to and anything to do with the state of Wyoming.
Margaret’s wish to pass away while gazing at her beloved Lake Ida was fulfilled at home on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, with family by her side, at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nali; son, Wayne Grenson, and brother, Thomas Nali.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Earle; sons, Gary and Keven (Mary) Grenson; grandchildren, Joseph and Jordan Grenson, Abby (Ryan) Newland, Lauren (Chad) Hess, Danielle and Charles (significant other McKenna) Grenson, and Sara (significant other Ryan) Grenson; great-granddaughter, Alice Novotny; brother, Ernest Nali Jr., and sisters, Eleanor (Greg) Emmons and Norma Disrud.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
