Marjorie Moe, joined her husband in heaven on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the age of eighty-four. Marjorie Ann Elaine Sanstead was born on February 24, 1932 in Evansville, Minnesota, one of two children to Elmer and Mabel (Johnson) Sanstead. Marjorie graduated from Evansville High School and then attended business school in St. Cloud. After completing her degree she started working at an office in Elbow Lake. It was while working there that she met Gil Moe. Marjorie and Gil were married on October 6, 1951 at Faith Lutheran Church in Evansville, where she was also baptized and confirmed as a child. This union was blessed with three daughters, Karen, Diane and Julie.

Marjorie worked as a homemaker, being a caregiver to her husband and children. She was the mom who was very involved in her children's activities. She was a Sunday school teacher and her daughter's girl scout troop leader. She and Gil were the parents that intertwined culture into their children's lives, camping and traveling all over the United States with the girls to help them experience new things. The couple, after retirement, wintered in Arizona and continued traveling. Some of Marjorie's favorite trips were to Norway and to their son-in-law's homeland, Germany. The couple also enjoyed the local stock car races, were charter members of the Antique Car Club and Sons of Norway.

For forty-four years, Marjorie lived to sell Avon! She used her tenacious and giving spirit to meet new people and help them find products to use in their daily life. She truly enjoyed visiting and helping others, often bringing goodies or gifts when visiting customers. She was a woman who's knew what she wanted and went after it. She used her drive and keen eye to become a national interior car judge. Marjorie could often be found documenting something and loved history. She was a member of the local legion auxiliary and TOPS group. Marjorie was a prankster and had a unique way to make her family feel like they were important. She felt everyone was important and often stopped in for a visit to let people know that she was thinking of them. Her giving, outgoing personality will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Karen (Gary) Schuneman, Diane Huber, and Julie (Tony) Krenn; grandchildren, Craig (Corrie) Jennissen, Connor Schuneman, Bennett Schumeman, Jennifer Harvey, Amanda Harvey, Gregory Harvey, Tina (Paul) Mielke, Carrie (Chris) Hvezda and Corey (Angelika) Christopherson; great-grandchildren, Nora and Ella Jennissen and Joshua Christopherson; brother, Lyle (Marilyn) Sanstead and many nieces and nephews.
