Martha Greengo

Martha Lynn Greengo was born April 12, 1967 in Alexandria, Minnesota to Richard and Arleen Greengo. She was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church.

Martha graduated from Jefferson Senior High School, Alexandria, Minnesota in 1985. She participated in swimming and golf. Martha was very creative and began a lifelong love of nature and photography.

Martha’s love of photography led her to work in the graphic arts industry. She photographed many weddings and events. However, taking pictures of nature, friends and family is what she loved most.

On July 16, 1994 she married Neil Herringshaw of Minneapolis. They enjoyed fishing and camping with Neil’s children, Alan and Nicole. After 15 years of marriage Neil died on December 17, 2009.

After Neil’s death Martha continued working in the graphic arts industry. She enjoyed many beautiful trips and events with her friends until the time of her death.

Martha is survived by her parents. Dick and Lollie Greengo, Alexandria. Brothers Paul Greengo, East Gull Lake and Jack (Michelle) Greengo, Alexandria. Nephew Gavin Greengo, Alexandria. Step Children Nicole (Jeffrey) Miller, Minneapolis, and Alan Herringshaw, Minneapolis.

Martha had many wonderful friends that she cherished. She will be remembered most for her ever present smile and love.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with a Memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Kinkead Cemetery.
