Mary was born on July 25, 1964, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota the daughter of William and Gladys (Foley) Angermeyr. She attended Morton High School and graduated in 1982. She furthered her education at Southwest State and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business.
Mary was united in marriage to Dale Burss on October 10, 1987 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria, Mn. To this union two children were born: Jamie and Brady. While raising her children Mary also worked as an accountant for Tastefully Simple.
Mary enjoyed being with people – whether it was watching her kids play sports, playing volleyball, going on snowmobile, motorcycle and ATV rides. She also loved seeing wildlife on her hobby farm, fishing, reading or just cruising in the boat looking at homes.
Mary died on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. She is survived by her husband, Dale; two children Jamie, 15 and Brady, 11; mother, Gladys Angermeyr of Franklin; brothers and sisters: Sue (Russ) Serbus of Cleveland, MN; Jim (Julie) Angermeyr of Eagan, Chris (Charles) Sanow of Marshall, Margaret (Pat) Theisen of Elko, Betsy (Alan) Deidrick of Howard Lake, Dorothy (David) Jones of Eagan, Donna (Phil) Loveless of Plymouth, John (Stacey) Angermeyr of Morton, Patty (Dan) Bradway of Vadnais Heights, Laura (Lance) Grewe of Hewitt; brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws: Vicky Burss (Dale Radke) of Hancock, Barb Burss of Alexandria, Melford Burss of Supply, North Carolina, Eric Burss of Evansville, Randy Burss (Wendy) of Alexandria, Pam Wendland (Mike) of Alexandria, Ginny Stier (Paul) of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Angermeyr; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Burss.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015, 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
