Michael Husted

Michael Howard Husted was born on August 14, 1951 in Garden City, Michigan to Victor and Mary (Swartz) Husted. Michael graduated from high school in Michigan, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He later moved to Minnesota.
Michael was a very generous person and would help any stranger. He loved animals and tried living his life like God would have wanted.
Michael loved Scooby-Do and Western movies, listening to Christian Music, build models. He enjoyed living a simple life. He enjoyed working at the Alexandria Opportunity Center and going to the Drop in Center.
Michael died on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the age of 65. He is survived by his mother, Mary Husted of Clarissa; sisters, Karen Husted of Alexandria and Mary Morgan of Alexandria; half-brothers, Victor Husted, Matthew Husted, and Milton Husted; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Victor; brother, Larry; grandfather, Howard Swartz; uncle, Jerry Swartz; aunts, Sally Zicker and Kay P Posten; and cousin, Ruth Flatten.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria with Reverend John LeVahn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. Casket Bearers were Damion Holmquist, Virgil Lindley, Adam Holmquist, Logan Peterson, Joey Miller, Todd Asmus, and Isaac Piekarski.
