Michael Roers

Michael Gregory Roers was born on April 14, 1950, in Glenwood, Minnesota the son of Gary and Laura (Buse) Roers. Michael worked for twenty two years at the Alexandria Opportunity Center. He was also a member of the Eagles Club and St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Michael enjoyed watching baseball, dancing and bowling. He always had a smile on face and will be remembered for his charming personality. Michael died on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in New Hope, MN. He is survived by his brother, Pat (Deanna) Roers of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters: Judy (Earl) Anderson of Alexandria, Jane (Dennis) Zercher of Plymouth, MN, Janice Roers of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gary & Laura. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 1:00 PM at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Alexandria. Honorary Pallbearers were Shelly Meadows, Amanda Goertz, Scott Schmidt, David Roers, Erik Zercher, Alex Zercher, Terrill Schmidt. Burial was at St. Mary?s Cemetery.
