A Mass of Christian Burial take place on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Seven Dolars Church in Millerville. A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria and also one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Noy Veronica Wagner was born on April 6, 1945, in Udon Thani, to Bou and Poy Seena. On February 4, 1972 she married Robert Wagner. The couple moved to Garfield for a short time and later moved to a farm in Millerville, where they would make their home. The couple was blessed with three children, Julie, Connie and Andrew.
When Noy was not busy helping her husband with farming or taking care of their children, she put her time and talents into sewing and knitting clothing. She was a talented seamstress, who had sewn her own clothing as well as her family's. Noy spent countless hours in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an incredible cook and baker, making from scratch caramel rolls, breads, other baked goods and all the family meals. All fruits and vegetables served came from the garden that she poured her love and time into. Noy loved to go fishing, enjoying the calm relaxation time on the lake. She was a determined woman, when she put her mind to something she accomplished it.
On January 8, 2017 Noy lost her battle with Alzheimer's at the age of 71. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Arnold (Ava)Wagner. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Wagner; children, Julie (Kenneth) Illies, Connie (Trampus) Smith, Andrew Wagner; grandchildren, Kailee and Justin Illies, Zane Duncan and Grace Smith; Sister-in-laws, Agnes (John) Lacore, Bernice Wagner, Rose Quast, Lorraine (Joe) Duchene, Elaine (Brett) Hardy, Bernice Wagner; brother-in-law, Walter (Vicki) Wagner, Ben (Jean) Wagner.
