Patricia Lucille Heidelberger passed away May 3, 2014, at Mountain Vista Hospital in Apache Junction, AZ. Pat was born on September 22, 1948, the daughter of Michael and Marie (Doebber) Lanigan at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Alexandria. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary?s Church in Alexandria. She graduated from Jefferson Sr. High School in 1966 and also from Minneapolis Business College. Pat married Tom Heidelberger on August 18, 1973 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. They made their home in Minneapolis. Pat worked various secretarial jobs throughout the years. One of her favorite was working for the MS Society of MN. Pat and Tom enjoyed traveling and took many trips thru the years. Pat was very creative. She loved crocheting, making jewelry and writing. Pat spent many hours reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. Pat and Tom wintered in Arizona for the last 9 years. Pat loved the area and being able to look out her window at the mountains each morning. Pat is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Christopher of Minneapolis; daughter, Katie of Anoka; granddaughter, Kelsey of Anoka; mother, Marie Lanigan of Alexandria; brothers: Lyle (Carol), Jerry (Louann Hammerschmidt), Kevin (Barb) all of Alexandria; sisters: Marilyn (Steve) Honebrink of St. Cloud, Cindy (Duey) Jantzen of Alexandria; sister-in-law: Theresa Lanigan of Villard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael; brothers: Darrel and John; nephew, Jeremy Lanigan. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Memorials may be made in Pat?s honor to Feed My Starving Children-www.fmsc.org/donate.
