Paul was born on July 18, 1940 in St. Paul, MN. He was united in marriage to Judith Harer in West St. Paul. He worked many years at Railway Express and ARA Vending Company. Paul was proud of his service in the U S Navy and served during the Cuban Missile Crises. He enjoyed fishing in MN & Shuffle Board in TX Paul A. Schintz of Alexandria, MN & Weslaco, TX, formally of So St Paul, MN, died on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Knute Nelson after a courageous battle with mesothelioma. He is preceded in death by parents Arthur & Verna (Morrison) Schintz; Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law Earl & Vivian (Harer) Schintz and by Sister-in-Law Carol (Harer) Williams. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy (Harer) Schintz; Dog, Scooter; Brother, Richard (Nancy) Schintz; Brothers-in-Law, Douglas (Judy) Harer; Michael (Karen) Harer; Sister-in-Law, Alice (Tim) Duncanson and by many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ? 7600 Cahill Ave. E. ? Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria
