OBITUARY Pauline Norma Moeser was born on November 29, 1938 near Henning, MN, the daughter of Melvin and Minnie (Wendorf) Nyberg. She was baptized, confirmed and graduated from High School in Henning, MN. She then moved to Minneapolis and worked at Honeywell. There she met Russell Moeser and on September 20, 1957 in Golden Valley, MN they were united in marriage. Two sons were born to this union Randy and Rick. Pauline and her family moved to Alexandria in 1968. She worked at the Alexandria Police Department for 20 years as a secretary. Pauline was a good mom who kept busy by watching over her sons. She was always supportive of them and attended all of their sporting events. She was a very social woman with good sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was involved with Zion Lutheran Church activities. She enjoyed staying active by golfing, bowling, fishing and playing cards. She especially looked forward to playing bridge on Thursday with friends. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Pauline N. Moeser died on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11AM at the Douglas County Hospital at the age of 72 years old. She is survived by her loving husband Russell Moeser of Alexandria; sons Randy and Mary Moeser of Brainerd, MN; Rick and Jan Moeser of Princeton, MN; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters Joann and Loren Post of Minneapolis, MN; Mary Lou and Merle Lange of Apache Junction, AZ; sisters-n-law Judy Moeser of AZ and Lu Nyberg of CA. She was preceded in death by her brothers Roger and Lyle. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria with the Reverend William F. Moeller. Irma Brockberg was the organist. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetey. Casket Bearers were Ryan Moeser, Bob Parkin, Darwin Ripley, Chuck Tillmann, Rod Haarstad, and Dave Anderson.
