Priscilla came into this world on September 19th, 1926, she was the first child of Edwind & Irene Johnson.
Born in Minneapolis MN, at 9 months old the family purchased a farm and moved to Hoffman, MN and lived there for 15 years attending school district #1 near Hoffman and Elk Lake. Priscilla also attended country school District #45 in Moe Township.
Priscilla was united in marriage to Arthur Lamby at Calvary Church on March 18th, 1945, by Pastor Gustafson.
They were happily married for 45 years. Arthur and Priscilla farmed in Moe Township for 23 years and in 1975 sold the farm and moved to Lake Ida near Alexandra, MN and lived there until 1990.
They purchased a cute little house in Alexandria, MN and lived there for 30 years.
In July of 2021 Priscilla moved to Halstad MN where family looked after her until her passing May 5th, 2024, at the Halstad Living Center at the age of 97 years old.
Priscilla loved beautiful things and kept her home Immaculate. Her house deco was like a “Doll House”. She loved working outside tending to her yard and flower beds.
Priscilla worked at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria from 1969 to 1987. She was the Executive Director of Housekeeping.
Priscilla was very proud of her Finnish Heritage.
She enjoyed coffee with friends, trips around the country, and visits with Family and friends.
Priscilla is proceeded in death by her husband Arthur Lamby, her mother and father Edwin & Irene Johnson, her sister Dorothy and Jim “Milo” Jones, and her special friend and companion Harold Bosshardt.
She is survived by her kid brother Myron & Joann Johnson, many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Priscilla was a member of First Lutheran Church in Alexandria, MN.
A Graveside Service will be held at Kinkaid Cemetery in Alexandria MN, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 9:30 AM.
