Ralph Sanders

Ralph Wilson Sanders was born on March 20, 1937 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to John and Regina Sanders. He worked as a maintenance worker at Farmall Tractors in Moline, IL for 22 years and was transferred to Springfield, OH at the Navistar Plant for 8 years where they made International Trucks. Ralph retired in 1993 and started spending their time in Minnesota and Arizona. Ralph enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping playing cards and spending time on the Ham Radio with his call numbers being N9BXN. He also enjoyed old country music, old western movies and being on the computer. Ralph died on June 10, 2013 at Bethany Home in Alexandria, MN at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Alice; two brothers, Don Sanders of Rockland, IL and Chuck Sanders of Moline, IL; sister, Sylvia Russell of Eric, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, John and Regina; and brother, Jim A memorial service was held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Bethany Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Keehn officiating. Music was provided by Diane Alveshere. Interment was held Freeman Creek First Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Iona Township. Honorary urn bearers were Ralph?s grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria
