Reginald "Reggie" Hale

Reginald "Reggie" Hale, a beloved member of the community, died on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Nelson Gables. He was born on October 16, 1931, in Redwood Falls, MN.

Raised by his grandma and aunt Hazel, he attended school in Morton where he cherished spending time with friends by the river. On July 6, 1952, Reggie was united in marriage to Audrey Krueger, in Redwood Falls.

Reggie's journey through life was marked by hard work and dedication. As a teenager, he began his career at Revere Tire in Redwood Falls and continued to work in various places before establishing his own successful Tire Shop in Bloomington. His work ethic and passion for his craft left a lasting impact on those around him. In addition to his professional achievements, Reggie proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 15, 1952, to July 30, 1954. His commitment to his nation exemplified his sense of duty and honor.

Those who knew Reggie will remember him for his love of storytelling and the outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing that led him and his family to Lake Osakis in the early 1960s. Later on, they acquired land in Garfield where he could indulge in his favorite pastimes during retirement.

Reggie will be deeply missed by his surviving family - his wife, Audrey; son Rick (DeeAnn); cherished grandchildren: Everett (Sarah) Hale, Emily Hale, Ella Hale; and cousin, Crystal. He also leaves behind his adopted family, the Klugs who held a special place in his heart.

Reggie was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jamie. Though he has departed from this world, his memory will live on through the stories shared by those whose lives he touched.

Services to honor and remember Reggie will be held at Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory located at 659 Voyager Drive NW, Alexandria, MN on February 28, 2024. A Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
