Rhonda Rae Finke

Rhonda Rae Finke was born on January 22, 1977, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, the daughter of Willard and Harriet (Kramer) Finke. At the age of three Rhonda’s family moved to the Carlos, Miltona area where she attended school graduating from Alexandria Jefferson Senior High School in 1995.

 Rhonda’s strength, kindness, and caring heart were just a few of the characteristics that made her so loved by others. Throughout her life she loved animals, especially cats. She would take in any stray that came along and love it forever. The outdoors were her haven.  She loved nature and gardening. Her pride and joy was her son, Connor, and they enjoyed many special times together. She also had a great sense of humor and never missed a moment to crack a joke or make someone smile.

 Even though Rhonda struggled with failing health for several years, she continued to fight and stay strong. She died on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, with her family by her side.  She is survived by her son, Connor Aber of Alexandria; mother, Harriet Finke of Carlos; brothers: Rollie Finke of Brooklyn Center, Robin Finke of Faribault; sister, Becky (Michael) Howard of Savage; three nieces and nephews: Daniel, Joshua, Lyndsey, Emily Howard and Jonathan and Calleigh Finke.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Willard.

 Her family and friends will miss her beyond words but find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Miltona with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
