OBITUARY
Robert Manson Allguire Sr. was born on June 12, 1932 in Alexandria, Minnesota the son of Walter and May (Lambert) Allguire. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1951 and then enlisted into the United States Army. After his time in the service Robert received a degree in Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. Robert married Mary Margaret Rowell in 1962 and three children were born to this union Robert, Margaret, and Ted.
Robert lived in Crosby for many years where he operated Keely Drug and attended the Episcopal Church in Brainerd, MN. He was involved with the VFW and enjoyed hunting with his son and golfing with his brother. He liked painting and vacationing in Orlando, FL. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Robert M. Allguire Sr. died on January 12, 2015 at his home in Crosby, MN at the age of 82 years old. He is survived by his son Robert (Debra) Allguire Jr of Tallapoosa, GA; daughter Margaret Allguire of Fridley, MN; grandson Nathan Golden of Tallapoosa, GA; great grandchildren Alex Golden and Ansley Golden of Temple, GA; and a brother James (Lori) Allguire of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and May Allguire, son Ted Allguire and a sister Patricia Allguire.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7PM and also for one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Saturday. Inurnment will be in Kinkead Cemetery.
