Robert Donald McBride was born on November 6, 1961, in Clinton, Kentucky the son of Robert and Billie (Ambro) McBride. As a young boy the family moved to Missouri for a year and then out to California where Rob graduated from High School. After graduation Rob enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country until 1994 when he was Honorably Discharged.
After serving his country he moved to Minnesota and lived in Hoffman for one year and then moved to Alexandria. During this time he worked for Standard Iron as a welder and then did multiple welding jobs for companies.
On January 6, 2000, Rob was united in marriage to Michelle Uhde. The couple enjoyed trips and spending time with family. He also had a passion for NASCAR and was a huge Jeff Gordon fan. Rob enjoyed playing cards and shooting darts.
Rob died on Monday, December 8, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; three children: Latanya, Nicole, Natasha; sisters: Donna Huehl of Alexandria, Debra Plante of North Hollywood, Nora of Bismarck, ND; uncle, John Ambro; mother & father in-law, Paula & Gary Uhde; brothers-in-law: Greg (Emily) of Glenwood, Chris (Bethany) of Alexandria; and his lil buddy, Ozzie; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, aunt, Bev Ambro
