ROBERT C. NORTHWAY IV Robert Corey Northway IV was born on November 13, 1993 in St. Cloud, MN, the son of Robert and Sandra (Wollin) Northway III. Robert was baptized into the Lutheran faith at Ebenezer Lutheran Church near Leaf Valley, MN. He attended grade school in Richmond, MN before moving to Keystone, FL with his family. Robert excelled in school and sports. He was a straight ?A? student and a member of the Flemming Island High School Varsity Wrestling and Football teams. He played fullback in football but wrestling was his favorite sport where he won many awards. He completed the JB Robinson Wrestling Camp in MN three years ago and continued to grow in strength and knowledge of the sport. He was voted most improved by his coaches and was a leader to his teammates. He was looking forward to wrestling someday at Texas A&M. Robert was very talented in many areas including playing guitar and drawing. He also liked to ride horses, camping, and spending time at the beach with family and friends. Robert was a big Gator fan as well as a Minnesota Vikings Fan. Robert loved his family, especially his little sisters. He tried to brighten their day with little pranks and jokes. He grew into a young man his parents were very proud of which was proven through his self-driven ambition and trustworthiness. Robert?s work ethic came from helping his stepfather teaching him morals and responsibilities as a young man. His love and affection came from his mother and his out going spirit. Robert will be loved and missed forever by all his family and all of his friends back in Florida and Minnesota. Robert C. Northway died on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Keystone Heights, FL as the result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his proud and loving parents Sandra and step father Bryan Northway of Ashby, MN; sisters Chasity, McKenzie, and Alexandra Northway all of Ashby; grandparents Robert Wollin of Alexandria; Mary (Kenneth) Anderson of Ashby, MN; Robert (Norleen) Northway of Wadena; uncles Dale (Barb) Wollin of Alexandria; Darrel Wollin of Orange Park, FL; Dennis Wollin of Alexandria; Steven (Tammy) Wollin of Racine, WI; Scott (Debbie) Wollin of LaCrosse, WI; aunts Barbara Northway of Alexandria; Bonita Jenson (Scott Johnson) of Ashby, MN; many cousins and girlfriend Autumn Abood. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Northway III; grandmother LaJune Wollin; and cousin Andionna Pischka. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria with the Reverend Mark Astrup officiating. Kim Byrne was the musician. Interment was in Carlos Prairie Cemetery in Carlos, MN. Casket Bearers were Robert Wollin, Amber Corcoran, Amanda Jenzen, Samantha Jenzen, Arthur Miller and Brandi Wollin. Honorary Casket Bearers were Alex Romeros, Kyle Ploe, Brandon, Behr and Derek Ploe. Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. www.andersonfuneral.net
