Robert Schlosser

Robert Joseph Schlosser was born on May 12, 1921, in Carlos, Minnesota the son of John and Mildred (Elsner) Schlosser. He was raised in Carlos and attended country school. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Nicholas Catholic Church where he was a lifelong member.

Robert was married to Lorraine on October 19, 1948. The couple farmed in rural Carlos where they raised their family. Robert enjoyed his vegetable garden, fishing, playing cards, dancing a good polka or waltz. One of his favorite things were attending his children and grandchildren's events. His children remember him as an outdoorsman who just liked to walk the fields.

Robert died on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. He is survived by his five children: Norman, Donald (Dawn), Beverly (Richard) Johnson, Kenneth "Pete" (Laurel), Jan Busch; eight grandchildren: Aaron, Dennis (Wendy), Jeff, Ashley Schlosser, Brittany Schlosser, Stephanie Johnson, Angela Schlosser, Andrea (Cory) Carstensen. Nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Carol Schlosser.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; grandson, Ryan Johnson; brothers: Richard & George; sister: Eleanor Juberian, brother-in-law, John.
