Robert Anton was born on February 1, 1931 in Lake Mary Township, the son of Anton and Mary (Kust) Trousil. The family farmed in Lake Mary Township and Bob attended the Owatonna Boys School. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force.
After serving his country he returned to Minnesota and worked as a meat packer in the Twin Cities. Bob was united in marriage to Elverna Slagle on November 29, 1980. When Bob retired from the meat packing company he and Elverna retired in Hackensack and then moved to Alexandria.
Bob died on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He is survived by his sisters: Florence Moser and Blanche Okoneski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Agnes Nash, Frank, and Leonard.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home. Burial was at the Bohemian Cemetery in Lake Mary Township. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
