Roger Granlund

Roger F. Granlund, age 80, of Alexandria, born May 8, 1936, died June 1, 2016.

Preceded in death by his parents: Reuben and Minnie Granlund, brothers: Lester, Norman, and Eugene Granlund; sister, Joann Soderholm.

Survived by wife, Margaret, son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Alyssa of Eden Prairie; daughter, Michele of Minneapolis; son-in-law, Phil; son, Kirk and daughter-in-law, Ruth of Chico, California; grandchildren: Danielle of Wisconsin, Melissa of Michigan, Zachary of New York, Samuel of New York, Skylar of California and Soren of California, Maria and Amanda of Edina; sister, Aldythe Karrow of Nebraska.

He is a retiree of 3M Company, St. Paul, where he worked for 34 years. Roger is a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria and the Golden Kiwanis.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria, with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
