Ronald Daubenspeck Sr.

Ronald Bernard Daubenspeck Sr., age 63, of Evansville, MN, passed away in his home on Saturday June 7, 2018.  Ron was born June 13, 1955 to William and Geraldine (nee Gantzer) Daubenspeck in St. Paul, MN.  He grew up in the Como Park area and graduated from Murray High School in St. Paul. A simple man, Ron found pleasure in the simple things in life, but also liked to take risks and have fun.  His adventurous side had him riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and driving Derby cars. In his spare time, he would be tinkering on cars and motorcycles, fishing and attending car, motorcycle and tractor shows.  Ron will be remembered for being a stubborn, yet kind man that always thought of others before himself and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents: William Daubenspeck; Geraldine and Richard Stebbing. He is survived by daughters, Cori (Troy) Hart of Evansville, Tina (Devin) Hall of Mahtomedi, and Deanna of Ashby, son, Ron Jr. of Mankato; 12 grandchildren: Tyler, Logan, Zachary, Caitlin, Tanner, Mikah, Hunter, Haiden, Hudsen, Mitchel, Max, and Phoenix; one great-grandchild, Finnley; brothers Steven Daubenspeck of Minneapolis, Bill Daubenspeck of Mora, and Chris Stebbing of McGrath, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, 700 Mahtomedi Ave., Mahtomedi, MN, on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 AM with visitation one-hour prior at the church.
