Ronald J. Hansen was born on October 14, 1977 in Woodland, CA, the son of Norman and Kathy Bogatzki. He attended Kimball High School and then lived in Cold Spring, MN. He met Kandi Johnson and together they moved to Alexandria in 2005. They were united in marriage on May 20, 2006 in the city of Granite Falls, MN. He worked as a semi-truck driver for the last six years. Ronald loved his wife and family. He was always there to lend a helping hand or offer a suggestion to solve someone?s problem. He enjoyed being outdoors and working on the semi-truck with his best friend Mike. He also enjoyed hunting and ice fishing with Mike. He liked playing his Playstation and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Ronald was a loving husband, son, and big brother. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Ronald John Hansen died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the age of 30 years old, as a result of a semi-truck accident. He is survived by his wife Kandi Hansen of Alexandria, MN; parents Norman and Kathy Bogatzki of Cold Spring, MN; sister Katie (Mark Thomes) Bogatzki of Minneapolis, MN; uncles Robert Hansen of Alexandria, MN; Michael Hansen of Alexandria, MN; Rick (Deb) Hansen of Brainerd, MN; Ervin (Kathy) Bogatzki of Bertha, MN; Richard (Lorenda) Bogatzki of St. Anthony, MN; Andy (Kathy) Bogatzki of South Haven, MN; aunts Dorothy Kalkbrenner of Laramie, WY; Lucy (Dave) Penkert of Hector, MN; Velma Young of Alexandria, MN; mother-in-law Ann Johnson of Granite Falls, MN; sister-in-law Michelle (Mark) McClenahan of Walnut Grove, MN; nieces and nephews KaiteLynn Harguth, Jessica Harguth, Andrew Harguth, David Giese, Rogan McClenahan, Keegan McClenahan, and Brady McClenahan; brother-in-law Nicholas Johnson of Marshall, MN; family friends Mike (Tanya) Steckelberg of Grey Eagle, MN; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law David Johnson. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Alexandria, MN. Inurment was in the Hudson Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
