Rozall Beverly Verdugt (Okerlund) was born to Edwin and Anna (Lundberg) Okerlund on March 3,1930. She passed away on Feb. 18, 2019.
She grew up on a farm near Garfield MN with eight siblings. Floyd (Marcella), Earl (Mildred) Leonard (Inez), David (Julia), Lucille (Lou Fine), Verde (Gene Floding) and Viola Olson. She graduated from High School in Alexandria, MN and continued onto cosmetology school.
She married Frank Verdugt Sr. on Feb 10, 1950, and they lived in Alexandria MN. They raised three children Greg Verdugt of Alexandria, Frank Verdugt Jr and Julie Verdugt of Deer Creek Mn.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Eileen); daughter, Julie (special friend, Monte) two sisters: Verde Floding and Viola Olson. Three grandchildren Jody Verdugt (Donice) of Elizabethtown, KY, Matt Lindemann (Jamie) of Alcester, SD and Michael Lindemann (Sammi) of Alexandria MN, four great-grandchildren: Rhett & Liam Lindemann and Ashley and Allison Verdugt; many nephews and nieces.
Rozall ran a beauty shop out of her home for many years and also did hair for Petermeier's Funeral Home. She was an active member of First Congregational UCC in Alexandria MN.
Rozall was a very strong woman who knew how to live with adversities. She lived for her children and family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, the outdoors and animals.
She spent her last years at Edgewood Assisted Living and Alex Assisted Living.
