Ruby Pollock

Ruby Pollock of Alexandria, MN, formerly of Sioux Falls, SD passed away at Knute Nelson in Alexandria, MN on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the age of 98. Ruby was born August 31, 1917 to Florence and Gordon Page in DeSmet, SD. She was united in marriage to Charles Pollock on July 14, 1936. Charles passed away in 2009. Her daughter Linda and son-in-law Larry Mills, of Alexandria, MN, are grateful for having shared her love and life. “Grandma and Great Grandma Ruby” will be fondly remembered by Thad (Tammie) Jensen and Christian, of Elk River, MN, Jill Pederson and Jenna, Riley and Tara, of St. Francis, MN, Tye (Mandy) Jensen and Abigail, Madelyn and Blaine of Coon Rapids, MN, Jason (Brooke) Jensen and Charles, Casey and Cade of Ramsey, MN, Steven Mills of Maple Grove, MN. Ruby is also survived by two sisters, Dollie Montross, of DeSmet, SD and LaVonne Williams, of DeSmet, SD, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Pollock; great grandson Reggie; parents Florence and Gordon Page; sister, Helen Rasmussen; brothers, Ellwood, Wayne and Lyle Page, and many of her dear and close friends.

A celebration of Ruby’s long life will be held at the United Methodist Church, 2210 6th Avenue East, Alexandria, MN on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will take place the day of the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Kinkead Cemetery.
