OBITUARY Sarah Rae (Suckstorff) Hoidahl, daughter of Carroll and Mary (Olson) Suckstorff, was born on November 13, 1977 in Starbuck, MN. She grew up in the Kensington area and was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Kensington, MN. Sarah attended Hoffman ? Kensington School through the eighth grade then transferred to Minnewaska School where she graduated in 1995. She continued her education at Alexandria Technical College for two years receiving degrees in Administrative Secretary and Office Information System Specialist. After college Sarah began working at American Solutions for Business in Glenwood, MN in 1997 and also started her own business in 2010 working as a sales associate for American Solutions for Business. Sarah married the love of her life, Justin Chris Hoidahl on September 1, 2001 at First Lutheran Church in Kensington, MN. Together they had two beautiful children Jayden (7) and Kendall (5) and built their own home SE of Brandon. She enjoyed reading, camping and watching campfires with Jayden. She also enjoyed curling Kendall?s hair and making her look more precious than she already was for a dance recital, Sunday church services or any other special occasion. She was athletic and liked running 5K?s with her nephews, biking, and skating. Sarah had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her garden every summer. She also took care of her house by keeping her home spotless and organized. She loved to get a good deal shopping especially on ?Black Friday? starting early with a plan to get all the best deals she could with her sisters and Mom. Sarah and her family are members of Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon. She was very involved with church activities and committees. Growing up Sarah was a carefree little girl who loved to play and keep active in sports and school. She continued to grow her enthusiasm for life as she became a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a professional business woman. She was very proud of her family and her accomplishments at work. She was a woman who had the ?We Can Do It? drive about her and was an inspiration to many people. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Sarah gave in death as she gave in life; she was an organ/tissue donor. Hoidahl died on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 33 years. Sarah is survived by her husband Justin Hoidahl of Garfield; children Jayden and Kendall of Garfield; parents Carroll and Mary Suckstorff of Kensington, MN; siblings Tanya (Chad) Friese of Granite Falls, MN; Ryan (Brittany) Suckstorff of Forada; Kristi (Jason) Wildman of Glenwood, MN; Meike Wendlandt of Germany; parents ?in-law Greg and Pam Hoidahl of Garfield, MN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Becky (Reece) Spanier of Sartell, MN; nieces and nephews Yolanda (Dustin) Voth and their child Emeril; Austin, Ayden, and Evan Friese; Kaylee and Aubri Suckstorff; Miles Wildman; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; aunt Marlys (Odegaard) Olson; and niece Kirsta Suckstorff. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon, MN with the Reverend Dennis Preston officiating. Interment was in the Finnish Apostolic Cemetery.
