Scott Yager

Scott Allen Yager was born on July 30, 1964 in Alexandria, Minnesota the son of Stanley and Barbara (Watters) Yager. He grew up in the Alexandria area with two brothers: John & Michael and sister, Brenda. As a young boy his dad would take him and his brothers and sister hunting and fishing. He attended Jefferson Senior High School.

When Stanley died Scott moved back to Alexandria to help his mom. He is a guy that was always there for his family and friends and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be remembered as a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy who loved to ride his Harley. Scott enjoyed watching the Vikings and taking his nieces and nephews to the Blizzard games.

Scott died suddenly of a massive heart attack on Monday, October 2, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Barbara; sister, Brenda; niece, Missy (Mike); nephew, Mike & fiance’, Alicia; great nieces and nephews: Brandon, Colton, Kayle, Taylor and Zachary; girlfriend, Denise.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley; brothers: John & Michael.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Alexandria.
