Scott William Schneiderhan was born on June 12, 1959 in Alexandria, the son of Robert and Kay (Rutten) Schneiderhan. He grew up in Alexandria where he attended Jefferson High School Scott traveled the United States settling in many different places. He always said, ?I did it my way?. Scott?s hobbies included fishing, hunting and trapping. He loved the outdoors. On Thursday, November 24, 2011 Scott died at Knute Nelson in Alexandria at the age of fifty-two years. He is survived by his son, Scott and daughter, Kayla, both of North Carolina; mother Kay Hobbs of Alexandria, brother, Ron Schneiderhan of Alexandria; sisters, Sue Wegscheider and husband, Jim, of Carlos, MN, Jill Rasmussen of Parkers Prairie, MN and Jan Lindquist and husband, Patrick, of Parkers Prairie and Melissa Taylor and husband, Andy, of Melbourne, Australia; step-brothers, Dan Hobbs of Shakopee, MN and Chris Hobbs and wife, Patty, of Parkers Prairie; and many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schneiderhan; his stepfather, Dale Hobbs; one brother, Jack Schneiderhan; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Rose Schneiderhan; and his maternal grandparents, Bill and Gladys Rutten. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Rev. John Taplin will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery at Belle River, MN. Honorary pallbearers include all of Scott?s nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
