Scott Skoblik

Scott Skoblik Scott Francis Skoblik was born on March 12, 1966, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, the son of Delbert and Phyllis (Manderscheid) Skoblik. He attended schools and graduated from Wabasso High School n 1984. Scott then attended the St. Cloud Technical College and later entered the avionics program at Alexandria Technical College. Scott had worked for Rollie?s Tank Service, did construction work, and became a partner with Jeff Larson in Allied Petroleum. On June 25, 1994, Scott was united in marriage to Rachel Fredrickson. Their son, Tucker, was born from this union. Scott enjoyed spending time with Tucker and going to monster truck jams, stock car races, and ice-fishing. He also enjoyed hunting and camping. Scott died on December 17, 2012, at his home at the age of 46 years. He is survived by his parents Delbert and Phyllis Skoblik of Lucan, son Tucker Skoblik of New York Mills, brother Richard (Judy) Skoblik of Vesta; sisters Susie Skoblik of Marshall, Rhonda (Herb) Froehlich of Seaforth, Jody Skoblik of Lucan, and Sheila (Randy) Salfer of Wabasso. Also surviving is a very special friend Craig (Carol) Soupir of Vesta, 17 nieces and nephews, and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Craig and brother-in-law Jim Brey. Memorial services were held on December 22, 2012, at the Anderson Funeral home Chapel in Alexandria, Minnesota, with Deacon Stan Hennen officiating. Additional services were held on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan, Minnesota, with Rev. Todd Peterson officiating. Inurnment was in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cemetery. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were Melissa Kalkman, Jessie Brey, Marie Soupir, Jeffery Soupir, and Austin Skoblik.
