Sharene Eckel

OBITUARY Sharene Myra May Eckel was born on January 3, 1974 in Dryden, Ontario Canada, the daughter of Royce and Meta (Berry) Henderson. Shar graduated from Dryden High School in 1992. She was then united in marriage to Scott Eckel at the Chapel Gardens in Eagle Bend, MN. Together they resided in Eagle Bend and four boys were born to this union Tyson, Samuel, and twin boys Aiden and Arden. Sharene continued her education by receiving her nursing degree from the Alexandria Technical School. She worked as an LPN in the Wadena Medical Center as well as the Bertha Clinic. Sharene always put God first and led by example on how to treat others and live a loving, faithful life to God and her family. Her family was also very important to her and she took pride in every event her boys had in their lives. Sharene was a talented piano player. Her musical guidance and talents inspired her boys to enhance their own musical talents. She liked hardangar work, reading, and birthdays. Sharene was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend who will be dearly missed. Sharene M. Eckel died on March 27, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 39 years old. She is survived by her mother Meta Henderson of Emo Ontario Canada; husband Scott Eckel of Eagle Bend, MN; sons Tyson, Samuel, Aiden, and Arden; brother Myron Henderson of Regina, Saskatchewan; and many cousins and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11AM at the Prairie Event Center in Parkers Prairie, MN. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4-7PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria and also for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
