Stanley Koep

March 8, 1956 — October 13, 2015

Stanley Edward Koep was born on March 8, 1956 in Parkers Prairie, MN, to Harold Senior and Blanche Koep. Stanley attended St. Mary’s Catholic School & Jefferson Senior High, where he then joined the Navy. After four years in the Navy, he moved back to Minnesota and worked in the transportation industry for 25 years and then the service industry for over 10 years.

On October 13, 1979, Stanley married Sherry Pettit. To this union three children were born Scott, Sarah & Stephanie. Stanley enjoyed wildlife, dogs and driving around the country side. He loved to go camping, visit parks and never missed a zoo. He loved conversations about different topics such as farming, trucking & business operations. His children fondly remember him teaching them to drive “a little before it was legal”, the fun family vacation in Turks and Caicos, and all of their camping and zoo trips. His grandchildren will greatly miss their grandpa who always had Cheetos, M&Ms and root beer waiting for them.

Stanley went to heaven on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the age of 59.
