Steffanie Schlangen

Steffanie Marie Schlangen was born January 16, 1980 to James Tueffel and Paula Schaper. She graduated from Minnewaska High School in Glenwood, MN in 1999. She loved crafts, particularly crocheting scarves, hats, and dish cloths. She loved Jesus Christ and attended the Church in the Pines, ran by Jay and Rochelle Jensen.
Steffanie always wanted to be a mother, so it gave her great joy to give birth and raise three children as long as she did. Her children's names are Christian, Ciara, and Chloe. She worked at Mills Fleet Farm in Alexandria for 10 years before becoming a full-time mother. On July 25, 2013 she married Darrin Schlangen. She is survived by her brother Nathan Schaper.
Steffanie M. Schlangen died December 30, 2017 at the Douglas County Hospital at the age of 37 years old. She will be loved and missed by everyone who knew her.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Alexandria. Interment will be in Kinkead Cemetery.
