Stephen Gibbs

October 2, 1992 — September 23, 2017

Stephen Charles Gibbs, the son of Jill and William Gibbs, was born on duck opener, October 2, 1992 at Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up in Plymouth and attended school in Wayzata and graduated from Wayzata High School in the class of 2011. Stevie was a three sport athlete, baseball, hockey, and football. He continued to further his education by attending the University of Nebraska, Alexandria Technical College and NDSU. Stevie was currently working with Corwin Dodge Jeep Ram excelling as an insurance broker.

Stevie had many wonderful qualities for a young man. He was a strong, yet gentle man with a huge heart. He worked hard and planned for his future which included marriage to his forever love, Andrea, a home, and a family. He had a competitive way about himself, always trying to win, but taking the losses with good sportsmanship.

Stevie was an amazing son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He loved his mother and affectionately called himself a “Momma’s Boy”. He loved hunting with his dad sometimes walking all day to get a pheasant or two. Family was always first in Stevie’s life. He never missed a family gathering and would look forward to talking and joking around with his aunts and uncles. He was an excellent role model for his younger cousins, being supportive and keeping in touch with all of them. Friends were another big part of Stevie’s life. He was the friend that everyone wanted to see and talk to. His fun personality, quick wit, goofiness, and friendly smile allowed everyone to notice how much of a good guy he was.
