Steven Wirth

Steven Carl Wirth was born on August 28, 1947, in Frazee, MN to Carl and Elva (Robinson) Wirth. He attended and graduated from Frazee High School in 1968. Steven enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1966 to 1970. He was honorably discharged and earned the rank of E-4 Sergeant.

Following his military service, he worked in distribution management in the Twin Cities, primarily for Target Corporation. On April 7, 1978, Steven was united in marriage to Judith Swanson in Red Wing, MN. The couple enjoyed spending time at their cabin on Lake Ida in Alexandria, MN, so when they moved to the area in the early 2000s they built their home on the same lake. Steven worked at Hilltop Lumber in Alexandria for a couple of years before retiring. He spent his time doing the things he loved most; hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with Judith.

Steven died on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 72.

He is survived by his wife: Judith; two sisters: Nonie (Dale) Cunningham and Darlene Maves; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria, MN.
