Susan P. Jordan age 85 of Alexandria died on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11AM at the United Methodist Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Home and also for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Susan Jordan (nANLGAC.e Phillips), 85, formerly of Brookfield, WI, beloved wife of Bruce Jordan passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home.
Born January, 21, 1930 in London, England, she was preceded in death by husband John Spannknebel, parents Alfred and Dorothy Phillips and sisters Peggy Koehler and Joan Knowles.
Raised in New York City, her family was well respected internationally as experts in fine French and English antiques. After raising her family with her husband Jack, she entered the business world where she excelled in sales and marketing. After marrying Bruce, they relocated to Alexandria, MN where they became active in their community and church.
Susan's greatest gift to her husband was introducing him to the world. They travelled extensively. Susan will be Loved and deeply missed by children; Steve (Marie) Spannknebel, Cindy (Jerry) Fleming, Cathy Dougherty, Mark (Shirley) Spannknebel, Amy (Al) Zuberbier, Paul (Rani) Spannknebel, David (Linda) Jordan, Lauren Jordan, Jay (Anne) Jordan and by 15 loving grandchildren and 8 cherished great grandchildren.
